You do have a very nice setup. My weights are fine. I was wondering about the uphill power/downhill control. I have been appeased. :-)

do your miles add up when towing? on my 2013 equinox if I do not pull the fuse miles add up when towing.

We are having our RV mechanic install a switch so we don't have to pull the fuse. Miles will add to the odometer if you don't. We used to have a 2013 Honda CR-V. When we bought it, we asked if miles would be added to the odometer, and they didn't know. He said they sold three or four a week to RVers, but couldn't answer my question. Car dealers need to do their homework.

Hi Bruce. We are west of you in Agassiz. I just bought a 2013 Equinox and set it up to tow behind our WB 32' Sightseer with the Ford chassis and V-10 engine. I'm sure I will know the Equinox is back there on long hill pulls and expect about 6mpg. We have the Tow-Haul mode and it should help both going up and down the mountains. I no longer go #3 if I am going to Alberta as #1 seems a better choice. On #3 you are always going up or down all the way to Creston. We are going to the US for six weeks this May but will cross into the US at Lethbridge (Montana). Buying the US dollar is going to be expensive but should save some money in gas puchases. Happy travels.
Regards, Moe

Thanks for your reply, Moe.
Speaking of going into the U.S., we do quite a bit of touring in Washigton and Oregon. Some friends of our spend winter in Arizon, and summer in Republic. We have been going through Tonasket to get to Republic, but the road is quite winding. We're thinking of going up #3 to Grand Forks then South to Republic. Might try it with the car first.
