Tow shield for towing mini cooper???

Hoping to get feedback from anyone towing a mini cooper 4 down as to using a shield to protect the mini's front end, such as he road master or blue ox units.

I used the Roadmaster Guardian when I was towing a 2006 Mini Cooper S. It did a great job of keeping stone chips off of the paint but the black plastic chin spoiler/trim took a lot of abuse because it was lower than the shield. I ended up buying a new trim piece before trading the car in. It was easy to replace.
