Towing 2011 Jeep Liberty

Hope Everyone had a Happy Turkey Day!

I plan on flat towing a 2011 Jeep Liberty. Owner's manual recommends disconnecting the negative battery cable. But is this Really necessary? I thought I saw from a previous post that it was not.

I have road master tow system and
Invisa brake in jeep

Hi!

I plan on still using my Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar and Roadmaster Even Brake system. I still need to get the base plates, though.

I got the 7 wire hookup
one is a power Line
rest are for lights
I still need to check to make sure
I am not recording milage
