towing 2015 f150 wheels down

I am towing a 2015 F150 wheels down. I am using the Blue Ox Patriot 2012 brake system. I also had camping world install a charge line to the battery. When I went on my trip last week to and from I have to stop every 50 to 70 miles I received a signal on my remote box in my motorhome giving me an error code 4 telling me my truck batter was going dead. Can someone tell me why this might be happing? Can send me and email if you want (stewbob@frontiernet.net)

Make sure the charge line from the tow vehicle to the toad is actually passing 12 v and also make sure the ground connection is good. If you find 12 v (+)(-) at the end of the umbilical line where it plugs in the toad, then check that you have 12 v (+)(-) at the plug on the front of the toad. If power is missing from those 2 locations, then either the charge wire from the RV has a blown fuse or the wire from the toad plug to the battery has a blown fuse or bad ground. I installed auto reset 12 v 30 amp circuit breakers to prevent this issue in my set up.

I would double check Camping Worlds work, I would check for a ground as Bob suggested and then check the wire to the f150 battery by taking it loose to see if 12 volts is there if so then I would check the size wire that camping world used ( perfered #10 but # 12 is ok as most pigtails only have #12 wire in them but some just has # 14) If all that checks out then check the pigtail to make sure they did not hook the charge wire to a #14 wire, generally the largest wire is the middle wire. My owners manual has a warning about a low battery could cause the 4 wheel drive trans to shift while towing and that would not be good.
Now after all that we have had a problem with the F150 battery going down in the earlier F150 , I recently took my F150 in with battery problems for a computer update and they installed a new battery and I was told it was a larger amp battery but??
