Towing 2015 GMC Acadia

Anyone towing a 2015 GMC Acadia. If so, did you use a diode kit for the lights or install a separate bulb? I'd appreciate any specifics. Thanks.

2013 Acadia Denali and we are using diodes, and blue ox baseplate. Put it in neutral, pull 3 fuses and I'm on my way.

Don't tow an Arcadia but didn't want to cut the factory wiring on our Equinox so use the separate bulb. Have done this on last two toads. While it hasn't been an issue, I didn't want GM to deny an electronic warranty issue saying that I'd violated the factory wiring.

Check with Demco and Tow Daddy- they have plug and play kits that require no cutting of the electrical system and allow you to use the existing light assemblies. We use a Tow Daddy kit with our Honda Fit and it works great.

We have the same setup with the Aventa LX towbar but the owners manual says to pull 2 fuses. One 50 amp (Batt I think) and a 20 amp (ecm?). What am I missing? We also use the Ready Brake.
