Towing 2015 Honda Pilot?

Can 2015 Pilot be towed safely? Honda does not recommend it but Blue Ox and Roadmaster say yes if you do the automatic transmission lever procedure and leave ignition in Accessory position. This is same procedure Honda outlined in the older Pilot I owned.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance for any assistance or ideas.

I spoke to the Service Mgr and Salseman at Honda about this back when I was considering a new Pilot. The answer I got was " It can be done and lots of people do tow but Honda will not warranty it"
So, if your Pilot is out of warranty, you assume the risk, if there is any. I don't know if this has changed with the new models but the one I was looking at was a 2015.
