Check out Motorhomes Dimgy Towing Guide for a pretty comprehensive list of vehicles that can be towed 4 down.

Just got April MH Mag today and 2016 tow guide was included. List of 4 down models was really small. No Honda's and most GM's needed several fuses pulled.

Whether it's one fuse or several....just replace the plug in fuse(s) with a spst switch(s) with a in-line fuse(s) of the same amperage. When ready to go, just flip the switch(s) and you're off an running. Really very simple.

If you're not up to making your own fuse/switch unit, you can actually buy them at just about any rv store...but be prepared to pay a lot more than what it will cost to make them yourself.

The Motorhome Magazine Towing Guide is not accurate for Ford. Some cars on it can't be and some cars not on it can (i.e. our 2015 Focus). You may want to go directly to the manufacturer's internet site. For Ford:

RV & Trailer Towing Guides | fleet.ford.com

Select year, and for 2015/6 the Flat-Towing is on page 11.

Strange because they only list what manufacturers will put in writing when asked for input.

The list of those towable is getting shorter and shorter each year. Guess I'll keep my dolly for a while longer even though our Ody has been proven to be OK to tow even though Honda says it isn't.

There are some cars that the manufacturers originally said can be towed , such as Chevy Cruze & Ford Fusion, but later manufacturer retracted . However it's already printed in Motorhome guide .

And looks like they left off the 4 wheel down towing on the 2017 guide as applies to trailer towing only.

The PDF file name indicates the 2017 edition is still preliminary. It doesn't yet even include the Fiesta and Focus.
