Had a shock when the wife said you need to get a new jeep and not a used one, wow!.
So oK we are going to buy the new one and need to know the flat tow procedure. Currently tow my 99 tj automatic but I installed lockouts on all 4 hubs, a 4wheel trailer.. Not available for the new jeeps, yet, buying a new Rubicon those hubs would be cost prohibitive any way.
As ususal, any info will be greartly appreciated.

Are you sure you want a lowly Rubicon? With a DW like you have I would go a little higher up the Jeep family which she would surely appreciate.

Auto in park, transfer case in netural, key off 1 click so engine turns off but steering wheel still turns.

One more thing, pull the IOD fuse in the fuse box before each tow. So much of the 08' are electronic, that several things in the dash are energized when you turn the key to the first click. It's an easy procedure, I do it every time. Just make it the last thing you do when everything is hooked up, and the first thing you push back in before you start your unhook. Easy stuff.
