Towing a 2011 KIA Sportage/ Hyu Tucson

Per the 2011 FMCA towing guide is states Man trans only. Has anyone modified a New KIA Sportage/ Hyundai Tucson with the 6 speed auto to 4down towing. I talked to a salesman and I ask if the 6 speed auto is ready for flat towing? I got the deer in the head lite look

Hey gg,

Have you checked with Remco?
What does your manual say?
Call KIA customer service and get a tech on the line.

Remco Towing has no info yet on the new six speed auto in the Sportage - says to check the owner manual for info.

Remco says the 2011 Tucson with the 6 speed auto is "not towable on the ground".
