Towing a Dodge Journey

I have a Dodge Journey 2009. It is front wheel drive automatic. It has a curb weight of 3,796 pounds. My MH (Minnie Winnie 31KP) has limit of 5000 so good on that score. I already have the Dodge Journey. Some questions:

1. Has anyone pulled a Dodge Journey automatic?
2. I realize it will have to be with a car dolly so front wheels will be up. So,
a question: What is the procedure after loading on dolly? I think with the front wheel drive there is nothing you do with steering or transmission?
3. What dolly is most recommended? I would want one that can have the toad shield installed (I think)? Or is it best to have the shield on the MH.

As you can see I have not had a toad and really thinking 4 down is best BUT I already have the Journey with pink slip and lifetime warranty! So that makes it appealing and I thought it weighed more than a jeep wrangler but appears to be about the same.

Help / ideas always appreciated.
