The trailer is a standard 20ft equipment trailer, it has disc brakes and a wood floor. If I remember correctly it's about 1200lbs, it's a Big Tex trailer the wonderful parts department at Lazydays picked it up for me for just a little over 4 grand.
Hope this helps, good luck.

Your trailer will weigh 2500lbs easy. I have one just like it. We have a 18 foot all aluminum, everything except the axles and hitch. It weighs 1400lbs. The steel trailers weigh about twice as much.

KSCRUDE, I never intended to pull the F350 DRW. It pulls a 18K 5th wheel for the moment. We are talking about my wife's F250.

You could keep her F250 and trade your F350 off on a 150, which is four down towable. Or are you going to keep the fiver and have two RVs? Then she would be happy.

Great! How well does it handle the tongue weight and what's the tow rating of your rig??

My Safari Cascade has a 10,000 hitch on it and handles it like it's not there, except on those long steep climbs. I only bought the trailer because I needed one for my business; I honestly would not want to haul that much weight around on a regular basis, burns to much fuel.

I am sorry you are correct, I quoted the weight for one of my other trailers. According to the mfg. my Big Tex has a shipping weight of 2940lbs. So that trailer with my 7756lb truck was pushing my pay load for my hitch to it's max; but it came though with flying colors.

This thought has crossed my mind. I will sell / trade the 5th wheel, when I get a MH. I will not need the dually.

Old but interesting topic and I was the OP. Funny that that this is exactly what I did almost 1 year to the date after that post. Sold the F350 DRW and bought a F150 for the wife and to tow behind the recently acquired Mountain Aire.

Now I am trading the 2013 F250 KR for a 2019 F250 KR, and I have read in the manual that they are now towable 4-down. The wife wants to sell the F150 and get a Lincoln, which we probably will not tow. The possibility of towing the F250 is real.

I was wondering how many people are towing their Super Duty's or 3500's. It is well within my MADP's towing specs and would probably add 1500 - 2K more than the 2014 F150.

Thanks. Looks like it may work. My truck will primarily be an every day driver for business, so it will be dual purpose. It will not rack up any miles while being towed to effect it's "business designation". I need a F250 for business and farm purposes, and this way the wife can keep her new car pristine. She always hated the grime and gravel chips the F150 suffered. She's kind of a obsessed with her vehicles .

Took delivery on the 2019 yesterday. Looks like the procedure to enable towing is about the same as the F150. My Roadmaster Blackhawk II is rated for 10K and is one of the recommended tow bars for a F250. The tow brackets replace the factory tow hooks and look like a very secure attachment.
