Asking you "what package it is" is about as relevant as asking you what color it is. Any answer you give them is not going to change anything one iota.

Though the dealer may have a great reputation, I believe you were working with a VERY inexperienced staffer. If they have the kind of reputation you're talking about, sounds like they have people that know what they're talking about, but the person you were talking to maybe not so much?

Maybe seek out the service manager for some help/advice?

I just had a BlueOx Base Plate, breakaway switch and Taillight wiing installed by a hitch shop through the Honda dealer on my 2013 CRV Touring AWD.
The dealer sent the car over to the hitch shop and I took my MH in to have the Charge line installed from the MH to the Honda.
Everything was coordinated through the Honda Dealer and paid for in the price of the car. $1100 all in and they did a Very Nice Job.

So yes there are options also, here are two,

Here is a fuse for Honda's: RVpartsPlus

I chose to use the "Toad Charge": LSL Toad-Charge Dinghy Vehicle Battery Charger/Maintainer 40' Wire Harness

Have use the Toad Charge for years now...works for me.

Happy trails!

I made up a switched fuse. I now have to run one of the lighter/power sockets to a separate fuse as the two factory sockets are both on the fuse they tell you to pull and I need that for my tow car brake.
I didn't find this out until I went to tow it, after wiring it up previously. I left it on, turned the video display until it showed only the time and It was ok after a 5 hour drive.
