Towing a Honda Oddsey

Can I tow a Honda Oddsey with my Georgie Boy Cruise Master. I'll be using a tow dolly.

We towed a '95 Odyssey on a dolly with our 26' Type C MH.

What is your hitch rated at?
What is your rig rated to tow?
What year Ody? The older ones like the '95 we towed weighed a LOT less than our '05 we now have.

Unless your rig is rated to tow more than 5,000#'s then you'll probably be right at max or overweight as the new Odyssey's weigh 4,400#'s dry and the dolly might add another 5 or 600#'s to that.

Our hitch is rated for 6,000#'s, the Ody weighs at least 4,400#'s and the dolly weighs 600#'s.

Max towable weight is determined by the LESSER OF:

1. GCWR minus actual loaded coach weight.

2. Chassis manufacturers towing rating.

3. Coach manufacturers towing rating (may have done something to the coach which reduces the chassis manufacturer's towing capacity).

4. Hitch rating.
