Towing a Honda Odessy 4 down

Has anybody towed an Odessy 4 down? I need a minivan type toad and would like to to wit 4 down. The Remco website seems to think that it can be towed but that Honda will not warranty it if there is a problem. Has any one been towing one without any problems?

I tow a 2002 Honda Odyssey, Honda say up to the 05 model is flat towable. Many are towing later models without Honda's blessing. Just follow the procedure in the older manual.

Exactly right. We have an '05 Ody, bought it with Honda's "blessing" that it was towable four down. Luckily I got it in writing too, on Honda letterhead. Had it set up at RoadMaster and towed it about 300 miles before I started seeing on the Internet that it wasn't towable.
After involving the CA and WA AG's office and Honda legal dept. Honda agreed to pay us for the towing gear, so we bought a dolly.
I have talked to other RV owners who tow them so I decided to try it again when we went from WA to CA and over to AZ. Put a new battery in just before we left. It went dead three times but I had brought my battery charger along just in case. Lots more rock dings, and had to replace all four tires and get an alignment when we got back.
Now I have all the parts and am going to add a charge line to the Ody and give it another try.
Just be sure and follow the CR-V towing procedure to the letter though. Even so Honda can and probably will deny warranty on at least the trans if there are problems. Had a problem with the antenna and it turned out I wasn't the only one, even found a magazine article about it. They tried telling me that the wiring I installed was interfering with the antenna wiring. I told them that the RV wiring was only activated when towing and the antenna was shielded. Finally told them to replace the antenna wire and I'd pay for it if it didn't fix the problem. It did and I didn't pay.
