towing a honda ridgeline

We are considering towing an '07 Honda ridgeline. I'm aware of the letter Honda sent several years ago about the CRV being the only 4-wheel drive vehicle they now authorize for towing...don't happen to have a CRV. Has anyone had experience towing the truck without problems? Seems there might be a way. Would be glad to hear if you have.

I had an 07 Ridgline - probably my favorite vehicle ever. When we were looking for a towd I tried everyone I could think of. Honda said don't even think about it, REMCO said trailer only, Honda dealer said trailer only, and my favorite mechanic looked hard and eventually said not possible. Had a 2008 wanted to tow it in the worst way. NO WAY that I could find. Trailer only.
A great solid vehicle and would buy another on a flash if I could tow it 4 down.
