Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I'm with CAT320. If the owner's manual gives specific instructions for towing then it's OK. If not, I would not do it!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

In April I towed a 320GL from Ely, NV to Phoenix AZ.
It was on a trailer behind my MH. My buddy blew a turbo on his way home to Kamloops. I happened to meet up with him in Ely. Towed his MB back to Phoenix for him while he drove my Ranger.
They have a winter condo in PHX, so he waited it out while it was fixed.
He has since sold it and bought a Toyota Highlander!
Happy Glamping.

We had a 3 year old GLK350 4Matic and AMG trim package, with only 20,000 miles that we traded in on our Cherokee Trailhawk shortly after ordering our coach. Size wise and in just about every spec they are almost same.
We have never "missed" the GLK.........

Yep, we own a GLK and it can't be done other than on a trailer. We tow a Wrangler instead. I wonder if a G Wagon can be flat towed, that's DWs dream car.

I've had a number of auto mechanics tell me a Lexus is just an overpriced Toyota. And not worth the extra dollars.

If the OP REALLY, REALLY wants to tow a Mercedes four down, they could get a Smart For Two. Made by Mercedes, and yes, I have seen a number of them behind MHs.

I know... I had a deposit on one. It’s what I wanted till wife saw a 2014 Buick Enclave AWD loaded and fully rigged to tow... we ended up w the Buick. I can’t complain though. It’s nice. Just can 4wheel it like you can a gx470 w the manual transfer case.
