Towing a toad?

When I set up the rig to tow a vehicle do I just leave it in neutral with the key on or is there more to it than that?

There's more to it depending on the vehicle. What is it you want to tow? I'm sure someone on iRV2 can give you instructions!

Yes, each vehicle is different. For example, Jeeps are pretty easy. Once the transfer case is shifted to Neutral, the Transmission is set to Park and the key removed.

A different vehicle will have an entirely different method to tow.

No and yes, but it specifically depends on the vehicle you intend to tow, and if it is towable. Not all vehicles can be towed 4 down.

What year, make, model, etc. of the vehicle you intend to tow?

It is what it is, and then it is what you make of it.

And not all vehicles can be towed on a dolly...

Things definitely vary by year. In my Liberty I have to leave the key in to keep the steering wheel unlocked.
