Towing an '08 Chevy Equinox AWD

Looking to tow our '08 Chevy Equinox with All Wheel Drive with a tow dolly.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible?? I'm afraid of the AWD, having two wheels moving and not all 4.

I know of no AWD vechicle that can be towed on a dolly - period.

GM owners manuals are very good about towing procedures.

The answer will be in the manual.

According to the Remco Towing site application charts, if the Equinox has the 6T70 (six speed) transmission & AWD it is towable 4 down but not dolly. If it has the AF33-5 and AWD, it is trailer only (no dolly or 4-down). Your owners manual should explain this clearly. Check with a dealer if in doubt about which transmission you have.
