do you have the user manual? check there should be a chapter covering towing. mine is a 2010 and can be towed flat. my guts tell me yours can be towed.

We flat towed a Honda FIT automatic all over the country. There is a startup procedure in the Users Manual to follow every morning and after 8 hours (I think) of towing.
