Towing Honda Fit

Acquired a 2007 Honda Fit, with Auto tranny. Blue Ox site lists BX2252 Base Plate for this unit. Some comments say this is for standard tranny units. Is there a difference in these vehicles that this unit will not fit Auto tranny unit? Can base plate be modified to fit? I have Blue Ox tow bar.

Denispg,

Afraid I don't have an answer but, if you don't get one here, Andy Baird towed a Fit for a while and may be able to help - you can get his email from his website in the link.

Call Blue Ox and ask them. I don't believe there is any difference in the two models as far as base plates go. Base plates for the Fit as usually listed for the models with fog lights vs. none.
