Your Motor home is probably rated at 10,000 lbs. That is what mine is (see sig).
If you call Fleetwood you will also have to have your Fleetwood Identification Number or FIN along with the VIN.

The motor home may be while the hitch is not. Don't get confused on the difference.

The rating on the hitch should be stamped right on it. I suspect the rating for the coach is the 10,000 you found on the big yellow sticker next to the driver's chair, but that does not guarantee they put a 10k rated hitch on it. The max is also subject to the Gross Combined Weight rating so it is important to know what your rig weighs, ready to travel, too.

As for calling Fleetwood, I agree, but you'll get the information you need faster with the FIN number (Fleetwood Identification Number), which should also be displayed on that big yellow sticker. They can find the FIN if you only have the VIN, but it will slow you down a little bit.

The loaded Liberty weighs less than 5000#. Hook up and go.

Someone at the dealer said the coach has a 5000 pound tow hitch, but the panel inside saids 10,000. I have a 360 HP diesel.

A Jeep Liberty only weighs in at 4000lbs or 4300lbs for the 08 -12 model

I have one of each and have weighed each of them.

To make my previous post a bit clearer. My motor home has Class IV hitch on it that was installed at the factory. It is rated at 10,000 lbs. I just bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Haven't had it weighed yet, but guessing it will come in around 4,000-4,100 lbs.

Just a thought...Perhaps you could put the weight in your signature.
