I tow a 5000# Jeep GC, don't know it's there. Another 3K should be fine the tongue weight is the key factor
Don' mean to hijack the thread, but I have bought a jeep g.c. that had been set up to tow. The former owner had a homemade light bar strapped to the roof racks and told me the jeeps' own circuits/ wiring could not be used. True?

they can but the easiest is to install a bulb in the lower pat of the tail light and wire it, there are kits for this
