Towing Mini's odometer fuse removal?

When towing mini's 4 down any assistance on what to do regarding removing fuse to avoid odometer from moving or does it not move without a key in?
Thanks! Having a blue ox put on this week.

No need At least not on my prior 2005 MINI nor on my current 2010 MINI Clubman S. Just put it in neutral and go.

We are talking about a stick shift aren't we?
