Smile towing question

I will be flat towing an older ('98) Honda sedan, 4 cyl., automatic, just wondering if the miles are counted on the odometer while being towed 4 wheels down.

If it has a speedo cable then the miles will be recorded however I "Think" it's electronic and therefore the miles won't record. Just make sure the car can be flat towed and if so, are there any restrictions such as speed, miles towed before you need to start the car etc.

Our 2014 CR-V does not accumulate miles when being towed.

I pulled a 98 Honda Accord with a V6 auto for 2 years and never put a mile on it towing.
With the motor running place it in R then 1 for a minute 2 for a minute 3 for a minute 4th for a minute then to N and turn the key off. If you go into R then you have to start over.
