I have an Itasca SunStar 26P, the cousin of your HE. I tow a Honda Accord with an auxillary brake. All tow aparatus are Blue Ox: receiver drop down, tow bar, toad face plate, auxillary brake.
can anyone give me info on towing a toad. what vehicle would be recomended. We have a 2013 Vista 26he. I thought about a smartcar.
Have a 2012 35 F vista and bought a 2012 Ford Focus. Use Blue Ox system. Focus is 5 speed manual so it's not complicated to tow. Bonus is its a nice car and you don't know it there. Good luck.

We are in the process of purchasing a 2013 Winnebago Vista 26 HE. We will be towing a 2013 Scion XD, manual shift. The car dealer didn't know you could tow the Scion but when we looked in the car manual, there it was, telling us how to prepare it to tow. Just put it in neutral and off we go. Looking forward to our new adventure.
