Towing X2

Did this with my 5th wheel and now confident I will do it behind the motorhome. Did a 6 hr journey with ease and within towing limits. My part in energy conservation.

Legal in Ontario and see no reason not to. Kept eye on it with rear view camera the whole time and it followed straight as could be, no sway whatsoever.
From the pull trailers I have seen on the road many should be pulled off due to terrible setups, overloading etc.

OK.........
Towing More Than One Vehicle

Cars, passenger vans and SUVs are not permitted to tow more than one trailer or one vehicle. Motor homes, trucks, pickup trucks and truck campers are legally permitted to tow two trailers or a trailer and a motor vehicle behind a trailer. However, a three vehicle combination that is swaying excessively, is unstable or has reduced handling capabilities is subject to action by the police as an unsafe combination of vehicles under the Highway Traffic Act.
The maximum length of any combination of vehicles is 23 m (75' 6").

I would read that to mean a truck pulling a 5er pulling a trailer is legal. Or something towing a car pulling a trailer is also legal. In the US, the truck/5er/trailer is legal most places, if it's not overlength. I don't know where the other would be legal in the US.

If you are within the length requirement, you are probably fine. I was given a ticket in Kansas a couple of years ago for being 2 feet over length. Had to unhook the Jeep.
