Has anyone used the Towmate Wireless lights on their towed vehicle?

They are excellent lights we use them on tow trucks all the time where you switch them to several vehicles in a short period of time, you'll find nothing but top notch customer service from Brian who is the owner of the company.

I own several sets of them but they are not really cost effective or suitable for RV use.

they work great I would remove them and the transmitter over night or when you were away from the motorhome/car for awhile, plus gives you a chance to charge it

I would get the CA32, only a few more dollars and more lights makes it easier to see you

At $350 I would buy if I wasnt useing a car hauler, heck a quality corded non LED set cost $100, yea you can get the Harbor Freight ones but they done hold up worth a hoot

Hmmm I just seen the TM3N for $375

I may buy them for my trailers and boats I buy to fix up and sell if my wired set fails me

Those things were like $700 when I was messing with the tow world, they have gone way down

Im glad this was posted, I had forgot about them

We purchased this at www.towtruckleds.com. Figured it was better than having the electrical system on our car messed with. We will take care when not in the vehicle or motor home so it doesn't "disappear".

Wireless TOAD Lights

I love the idea of wireless LED TOAD lights. I currently have the wired type. They are a pain to setup and remove all the time. The only question I have is about a license plate light. Most states require one. If our friendly men in blue want to stop you, they easily can if you are not lighting the license on the TOAD and the motor home. Any good solutions? Do any manufacturers have license plate lighting?

Sorry I posted this as we have returned the lights to the dealer. We tried them on the toad with the motorhome and they just didn't show up enough in the sunshine. All the lights are always on..the turn signals were okay but the brake light didn't show up.

BE AWARE-- they charge a 15% restocking fee which we didn't know about.

Which product are you referring to, the Towmate.com lights or the TowTruckLEDs.com ones?
