Has anyone wired a 09 Toyota Matrix using diodes. I need to wire my Matrix and am undecided wether to use diodes or using socket/bulb system to leave OEM system intact.

Thanks

I used the diodes - much easier. I ran a 4 conductor (trailer wire( from the coach back through the car to the left rear panel. Then connected the diodes up so that the Corolla (same as Matrix) tail lights acted as brake and turn signal lights - skipped using the built in turning lights. Works great and no feedback from the car or coach.
When I disconnect the wire from the coach, I just coil itup and put it under the hood next to the battery. I did install a dummy end so that I can plug the long wire into it to save the pins from corossion.
Hope this helps.
