Is anyone towing a 2wd, 5 speed manual shift? The dinghy tow guide doesn't list the Tacoma. Remco source says OK. Also, what position do you put the ignition key or due you need to position it differently to unlock the steering column?

Trading in the current toad. Thanks.

I tow a 2wd Toyota Tacoma automatic. I use the Remco Drive Line disconnect and put the key in the "accessory" position. I had a '96 Chevy S10 pickup with a 5 speed and it couldn't be towed 4 wheels down because people said that the 5th gear in the tranny wouldn't get any lube with it in neutral and the engine not running.
