I would like to flat tow the Toyota Venza' Can it be done and what if any special equiptment is needed?Any help is appreciated.

My understanding is that no Toyota is towable if it has a auto trans. You can only tow them if they have manual trans. You could use a Tow Dolly with a auto trans Toyota.

As Raca-roni notes, Motorhome magazine's dinghy towing guide doesn't list any Toyotas towable with automatic transmission.

You might want to contact REMCO, as they are the towing experts.

I was just recently at a Toyota dealership and read some information on towing the Venza. Short story is you can only go 30mph and travel 30 miles before stopping and running the engine on the toad going through the gears, I don't remember the whole thing but at 30mph and 30 miles at a time it was not going to be a go "toad" vehicle.
