Tracker and Suzuki SUV Toads

Just a fyi posting. The wife was driving our 2003 tracker home last night in a 45 mph zone when the front end started shaking and she had a hard time keeping control until she slowed down. Made it home Going 20 mph. I found the front suspension cross member had internal corrosion and the right side was 95% cracked through where the wheel control arm is mounted. Had it fully broke the right wheel would have been uncontrollable.

Doing some research I found Gm put out a special coverage service bulletin to check and replace these if they were bad. It is only good for 10 years from the manufacture date of the vehicle. Since mine is 11 year's not covered. If anyone has a 2004 or newer it may still be covered. Call Gm at 800 222 1020. The part # is 91177632. I will attach a pic so everyone knows what to look for on your units.
