I would be upset if there was a more “User Friendly” solution on the 2016 models after Feb.

ALSO: I noticed there are no instructions on how to use the new towing kit, when to turn on the switch.
AND: now the manual says to have the engine "OFF" when shifting the transfer case IN/OUT of neutral (used to want the engine running).

This whole thing is getting crazy....

Regards,

Dan
The manual has NEVER stated to have the engine running when shifting into or out of neutral. It has stated to go to the run position but to NOT start the engine. Once the shift has completed you start the engine and shift to Reverse for 5 seconds with the park brake off to check for any engagement, then shift to park and shut it down.
People please read the Manual, and then read it again and every time you perform the shift into and out of Flat Tow Mode.

The dealer is supposed to give you a card with instructions after "the kit" is installed.
