Transmission Lube Pumps for toads

Has anyone tried the transmission lube pumps from Remco? I was going to put on in but didn't know if they really work or not. My toad is a 2011 Ford Fusion and after towing 4 wheels down for over a year, we finally blew the transmission in the dessert. It was suggested I get the lube pump from Remco, I've been using a Master Tow dolly lately but I miss the ease of hooking it up to my Motorhome, it's so easy with the Blue Ox I have done it at a stop sign in Lake Tahoe, I got it down to two minutes. The dolly on the other had has to be driven on to and then the straps applied and you better make darn sure you did it right. Has anyone used the Remco pump? Please let me know good or bad, I would like to try it but for the price I want to know it works.

We had it on our PT Cruiser and it worked just fine.We towed it all over the country even out to your neck of the woods..The PT is not 4 wheel down friendly. It's a very simple process they just tap into your transmission pan and connect a pump that you control from the drivers area.
While not towing it just sits there.

If it is a basic lack of lubrication while towing, then a lube pump should work fine. Ford does have a list of approved cars that can be towed 4 down. Here is the pdf for 2011:

Check page 15.

2010 Allegro RED 38QBA "Harvey"
2009 Honda Element "Towster"

We have the Remco pump on our PT Cruiser, and it works great. The Remco people are very responsive when you call, or e-mail, and the pump seems to be very dependable. They have an online list of all vehicle years and applications to tell you all about their systems.
