Trunk light switch.

I have a 1995 Saturn SL-2 and I have been towing it since 1995 and have had my chair of problems but not enought to get rid of it.
I do have a question for those who have one, my trunk light does not come on anymore when you open the trunk lid.
I have check the bulb and it's good the electric circuit is O.K. because the dome light is on the same fuse so the fuse is O.K.
Now the only thing that I can think of that maybe no good is the switch that turns the light on when you open the deck led and turns it off when you close it.
But the big question I have to anyone who knows is where is the switch located at?
This is more then a thought.
Terry Walter.

Most of these switches contain a Mercury bulb tilt-switch, it may be underneath the rear shelf, attached to a hinge.

From a thread on 1998 SL trunk light not working.

"Sometimes my trunk light doesn't come on until I push up on the latch a bit and then it comes on.."

" Look closely at the trunk latch. There is a switch in that. One time I accidentely tried to close my trunk on a hard object that resulted in that wire being broke off right at the switch. Needless to say, the trunk light did not work untill I fixed that."

"Check the "body" fuse located on the interior fuse panel."
