Who did your installation? How much did it cost. I dropped my brake buddy a week or so ago, and now it doesn't actuate.

I did a self install. Not that hard to do. I did a google search on US gear installers and came up with nothing. I would suggest that you call any RV dealer that does maintenance and ask them if they can do it.

You can send your Brake Buddy back and they will repair it for you.

I have had the Unified Tow Brake for about 5 years now. I first had it installed on a Ford Escort and it worked very well. Then I bought a 2004 Saturn Vue and I have never gotten it to work well on the Saturn. It was a bear to get the cable hooked to the brake pedad and even now I don't like how it is hooked. It just doesn't seem to be pulling the brake pedal down far enough. The way I have tested it is to pull the break away switch, I would think at this time I would not be able to move the car, but I can by pushing it. So I really don't think it is working the right way. On the Escort I could feel it braking and would have to adjust the gain , but not on the Saturn Vue. I have tried several times to get it right but so far I haven't hit the magic spot. The vacumn pump runs like it should and the brakes on the saturn work fine, just doesn't seen like the tow-brake is working hard enough.

Hi Everyone, I have the unified Tow brake system that is used for one year for sale. Nothing wrong with it but I traded vehicles for towing and it came with a new system. I have all of the required parts and the installation instructions for $625.00 and includes shipping in the U.S. When I used it, I loved it.
