Trying to figure out how or if you can use diodes with the computer monitoring light system. Vw says no because you get false readings. Any experience with this. Thanks

It doesn't make sense to me that there would be any problem... this is the function of the diodes. I would suggest that you ask another VW source.

My only thought was the Diode would change the resistance in the wire and then the computer would pick up a problem.
