Wanna flat-out my 2016 GMC Yukon XL

I had my driveshaft disconnect installed by a local driveline shop. I too had them build a new shaft so I can return the vehicle to stock.

I am sure I could have installed it, but I did not want to have to chase a driveline imbalance. As it turns out, the driveline installation has been trouble free, but they installed the the disconnect handle on the left side or the drivers seat. This is against the manufacturers guidelines and it is very obvious when you open the door. However, it works fine.

Does a hole have to drilled through the floor to reach the exterior portion of the install??.
.or is there another avenue?

The installation manual recommends a punch to make the hole in the floor for the cable.
