Want a auto tranny and not a 4x4.

My 07 towed Accord could be replaced. Anyone using a newer sedan '15 and up? Not a 4x4 or stick shift or GM. Ya I've seen the towable list.

I think you may have just cut your options significantly but hope you find what you want. For what is worth, we had great service out of Chevy Sonic automatic.

Using 2017 info (it's what I have handy), here are a few:

Buick Enclave & Envision - front drive automatics
Chevy Equinox & Traverse - front drive automatics
Ford C-Max, Edge, Explorer, Fiesta, Flex, Fusion, Focus & Taurus - all FWD auto

GMC Acadia & Terrain - front drive auto

Note that not all engine and trim options may be towable, but there is at least one configuration of each of those that can be towed 4-down. Several of them also come in AWD (All-Wheel-Drive), which isn't going to operate any different than FWD only as far as the driver is concerned. No transfer case to fiddle with.

We tow a 2018 Ford Flex and really like it. Tows easy, has lots of interior space (3 row seating) and the price was right. An additional plus was with the seats down I have space to haul our two Catrike Recumbent Trikes.

Look at the ford C-Max. what is great about it is it is a hybrid, either gas hybrid or plug in. 2018 was the last year they made them.
