Question Want Indicator Light for Flat Towing

I have a 2017 TrailHawk with the flat tow harness installed. Instead of having to pull a fuse when not towing or having to install a fuse when flat towing. I cut the wire to the EPS just ahead of the fuse and installed a SPST 12 volt 20 amp aircraft switch with safety cover on the dash. Now instead of having to open the hood to remove a fuse or install a fuse I just flip the switch. I want to install a LED indicator light so I can see when it is in tow mode. I am thinking of maybe hooking the pos side of the LED to the switch, and the neg side to ground so that when the switch is on for flat towing the LED will light. Will this work or do I need something else. Any thoughts or help appreciated.
Mel

Try a 12V LED across the switch. It should light when the SW is open, and be dark with the SW closed.
