Wardaddy Connector
Last weekend I was fueling up at Pilot and a trucker walked past me and pointed to my toad and told me I'd better replace my "wardaddy connector". I asked him what that was and he said "if you don't know, you shouldn't be driving that thing" and walked away.
I went back and looked at my towbar (it's a Falcon) and everything looks fine to me. I hate to admit I have no idea what he's talking about, so I googled it and came up with nothing.
Is this some sort of trucker jargon like a Georgia overdrive?

never heard of it either. Maybe he was mess'n with you. Like telling you to change your blinker fluid.

yep I agree my RV uses alot of blinker fluid. I think it must be leaking

Sounds like what we used to do with the baby Nukes on the boat when we would send to the torpedo room to ask for some Relative Bearing Grease. They would always come back aft with a different perspective on life. Don't know what those forward folks did

furpins never wear out you just need to get them trimmed every so often

Navy. 1970. Avoided draft. Wife, 2 kids. Station onshore. Shop chief tells me to check all the other shops and find 3 or 4 inches of falopian tube by next morning. Worked on younger newbies I guess.
Went to local butcher shop. Got said tube from former pig.
Left it on the chief's desk.
He said nothing

We Air Force types would send newly minted airmen to base supply for a thousand feet of flight line and two gallons of prop wash.

Strongly inclined to agree with the above replies but I do have a SERIOUS suggestion.
INSPECT everything in the tow system, Tow bar, Base plate, Light cable, Brake cables and break-a-way, Safety chains/cable.
IF something needs attention,, That's it. Report back.
If everything checks out good.. Well then you have done your mandatory full inspection for this tiem slot,, NOTE, most of us likely do not do this inspection, we all should.. I found several screws (Well bolts in this case) that needed attention when I inspected mine.
