My new setup with the crv has been doing 195 degrees on a 70 deg day for small hills on highway. It goes up to 211 on hilly terrain on 90 plus days.
On a recent trip across Vermont on route nine then into New York on route 7 during a day in the 80's it was going from 208 to about 237 highest. Had to pull some of the hills in first gear then on the grades that were maybe 7 percent.

I know when towing my focus i never got above 220

What are some of your temperature numbers, at least for mountain/very hilly terrain?

237 would make me nervous. Transmission fluid deteriorates as heat goes up. If you don't already have synthetic transmission fluid, I get it swapped ASAP with those temps. It holds up better under high temps.

Are the temps listed the engine or tranny temps?
