What baseplate is this?

Just bought a used 2005 CRV AWD EX, and noticed this baseplate was on the car, along with a four pin receiver. I plan to tow four down for the first time, and need to know what I need to get this car ready. I do not have the tow bar or wiring cord yet!Click image for larger version

Yes, I'd agree on Blue Ox.

Thanks for the ID, from what I have read on this forum, I can buy blue Ox removable tabs,,and then any tow bar setup I want. I have not decided yet about a brake system.

I think that some "Non Blue Ox" tow bars may require an adaptor to the blue ox tabs. I switched to the RVI brake system last last year and love it. It's about 2/3 the size of comparable systems, quick and easy to set up. It has an in cab monitor that allows brake system monitoring and adjustments. Customer service is outstanding..

You have a Blue Ox baseplate installed on your CRV.

Make sure you have the removable tabs. The removeable tabs disconnect when not towing for a clean look.
Since you have the base plate and wiring all you need to complete this set up is purchasing a Blue Ox towbar and electrical cable.

If you have any questions or would like more information please feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at 800-228-9289, 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.

We, at Blue OX, sincerely appreciate your business and look forward to assisting you with all your towing needs.

Thank you, Don Hamilton
