I looked at M&G. They wound up my second choice for a reason that might not affect everyone. The M&G unit requires the relocation of the master cylinder by a few inches forward to install the power unit instead of adding a small cylinder on the brake petal like Air Fore One. I liked this feature as it removes all attachments from within the passenger space of the tow vehicle. Unfortunately the large V8 engine under the hood of my relatively small jeep, fills the area under the hood. it would have required major relocation of system components to get room to move the master cylinder so i went with the Air Force One.

Had I not faced this problem I would have looked much more closely at the M&G unit.

Glad you found a working solution.

M&G as posted before was a easy install , simple design, ease of hook up on our F150 and Roadmaster Brakemaster on the Kia.

I pulled a 2015 chevy Z71 behind the motor home using the Airforce 1 which I paid out the nose to have installed.

Then in January of this year I bought the Ram Limited 2500 4x4. I stripped everything off the chevy and decided to install everything on the Ram myself. This really wasn't a hard job and I think I did a better job of the installation.

In my opinion the Airforce 1 is a great system. I will say the Ram is much easier to pull than the chevy was although it's quit a bit heavier.

SMI stay& Play on my 2016 F150 XLT supercrew 2.7L. I mounted the main box on the side of the air cleaner box. Search for my recent posts to read some other technical details about this install and my lighting solution. Did it all myself.

Went from SMI Stay N Play (gas coach) to M&G on new Ventana. Night and day difference from having cylinder on brake pedal and switch on foot well. Really sold on M&G.
