Since I tow a small pick up truck with a lid over the bed, I carry the BBQ, a folding
6 ft table (my MH does not have big pass through storage) and the fold up 8x20 fold out mat for under the awning.

I carry a set of heavy-duty jumper cables, 20' long! You never know when you will need a jump-start, or when you will run across someone else who needs one!
