Have a very nice SUV that is not flat towable (Hybrid that gets over 30MPG!) So, it's a dolly for us. We can and have switched cars on the dolly at will.

The dolly has it's own Disc surge brakes and break-away safety and weighs only 405lb.
So EZE to load, unload and tow...and can be backed-up with due care (got trapped and had to back out or unload).

We tow a 2014 Honda Pilot with our 2013 Itasca Sunstar. We had camping World install Roadmaster baseplate, electrical harness, tow bar (Sterling All-Terrain), and tow defender. We use BrakeBuddy for the supplemental braking system.
