I have towed with a cart and 4-down...I prefer 4 down. Cart is wider and more work - but they do work OK. I currently have a full size Tahoe and a Lincoln MKX I pull four down with a Demco tow bar. WOrks great.

We tow a 2009 Jeep Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition all four down behind our DP MH (described in the signature). We use a Blue Ox Aventa LX 10,000# tow bar, safety cables and Base Plate. The Receiver lock and Base Plate locks are lockable. The stand-alone Bulb and Socket wiring kit is independent from the Jeep electrical system. Toad braking is accomplished using a US Gear UTB-1000 Unified Tow Brake System, with a breakaway cable. We have a charge line running from the coach to the toad via a brake/light system umbilical cord.
After 4 years of seasonal service, so far so good! Safe Travels!

I just traded my 08 Tahoe (which towed great) for a 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. Roadmaster tow brackets, Roadmaster Blackhawk tow bar, RV1 charging kit, Roadmaster universal wiring kit with diodes. I use a Brake Buddy Vantage Select.
