Congratulations and have great trip! Looking forward to a full report on your return. I would also like to hear your opinion on the Winnie Vista after you trip.

Toad Installation Complete

I have been the benefactor of many postings so I would like to share some information regarding our Toad installation.

Blue Ox - Aventa LX & Cover
Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit #154 and coiled wire
M&G Engineering Supplemental Braking System #602 and coiled air line

Coach is a 2009 Newmar 36' Dutch Star
Toad is a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara - 2-door Automatic

Total time for complete install at a Camping World about 9 hours (included about 1 1/2 hours for other misc work)

Total Cost about $3,435 - inclusive

I purchased the M&G Engineering product and they special ordered the Blue Ox. They do not sell either the Blue Ox or M&G products.

I did not purchase the Break Away kit from M&G.

The wiring kit connected into the Jeep wiring harness to utilize the existing lights and bulbs.

I bought a PCV black rubber elbow to fit over the air fitting at the front of the Jeep.

I am posting several photos - 2 of which are of the M&G aluminum housing that fits between the vacuum pump and master cylinder from a couple angles.

Camping World had never seen or installed the M&G Engineering prior to our Wrangler. The install went well using the instructions and no need to call M&G. Everything worked well when we picked up the coach and Jeep. The service technician's name was Gary at the Kingston, NY Camping World. The Service Advisor was Jim Warrington who I made all arrangements through and the price he initially quoted me was what I paid. The M&G install was a straight hourly rate which came to $445. Very pleased with the overall experience for the towing package install.

The Toad hook-up is simple and quick. The braking and vehicle tracking are great.
