Roadmaster Falcon II, 6000lbs pulling RX300 with curb wt of 3950. For braking I use the BB vantage select. The BB gives choice of full or proportional braking remotely. Also carry a Falcon release tool.

No problems except one Rod end froze up due to rust. Soaking in penetrating oil loosen it up so for safe keeping I am replacing both rod ends and also replacing bushings and bolts as specified in the Roadmaster repair kit. From now on I will keep the rod ends coated with oil to prevent rust.

Very satisfied with my equipment.

When we tow our 6300# Avalanche, I use the Blue Ox Aventa tow bar rated at 10,000#. Braking system is by M&G. Both work very well. I used to have the Aladdin rated at 7500#, but had it rebuilt for $30 and gave it to a friend when I found this like new Aventa for $150. I also have a Brake Buddy that I keep for when I used to tow our Jeep.

I use the NSA ReadyBrute Elite towbars with built-in ReadyBrake! It's low-cost, simple to install, effective, rated at 8000 lbs, and lifetime warranty!

Blue Ox Avail tow bar with M&G Air brake on our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. 11,000+ miles to AK and back, no issues so far...and it took quite a beating.

I also have a colapsable Acclaim that I use for my Vue. Where are you seeing cracks???

I also have a straight non-colapsable "A" frame bar I tow a Civic with.

I just recently bought a Add-A-Brake that I'll be hooking up in the Vue.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

I have a used blue ox tow bar and brake buddy. Both bought for a good price and have served me well. That said, if I were buying new today I would get the ReadyBrute tow bar with integrated brake. Best bang for the buck and nothing to put in/out of the toad each time.

I also use a 10k lb rated Blue Ox with a Patriot brake system. Both have worked very well towing my Sliverado and an HHR.
Interested in the weld cracks?
