We towed our 2008 Chevy Malibu behind our Damon Intruder. No problems..loved the car! But recently sold both, since we went back to a truck and 5th wheel. Loved the Malibu though, and no problems towing

How heavy is that Acadia? What is the combined weight when you're towing it and does that fit within the combined max weight limits?

We tow a Chevy HHR four down and put it in a 24' trailer with two motorcycles when we head south for the winter, either way it works for us

But be that as it may, I'd like to hear about your toad and how you've done towing it behind your motorhomes.
We tow a Pontiac Vibe. Manual transmission. Great tow car. Very easy to hook up.
No barking, no whining.

flat towed toad

we tow a 2009 ford escape auto 2 wheel drive- blue ox tow setup with smi airforce one air brake-love the set up but have had some issues with the escape--fords working with us to get it right--a remco trans pump can often be used to tow an automatic trans car flat (on all 4 tires)
Ted & Beth--2000 custom mountain aire 4093, spartan mm/cummins 350 Isc--1800 goldwing w/lift pulling 09 ford (toad) escape--just the two of us, retired & lovin it-- --fmca--gwrra

I am in the process of changing from a Jeep Wrangler to a Chevy Silverado extended cab 4X4 pickup. I always used the simple Blue Ox Ambassador (A frame type) tow bar on my three Jeep Wranglers but changed to the Blue Ox 10,000# tow bar, safety chains and base plates for the Chevy. I have it set up with all the towing gear but am waiting on a Roadmaster braking system that ties into the air brakes on the RV to be installed. Then, good to go with the new setup.
