Where to buy tires and rims for EZ Tow?

I know its probably sitting right in front of my face, but I can't find the link I saw recently of a place that sells tires and Rims that someone had recommended for replacements for the EZ Tow 205-65-10 tires.

I blew a tire on my last trip and the rim was ruined by the time I got to a safe place to fix the flat. I was 400 miles from home when this happened and now I'm thinking I'm going to carry 2-spares since this is such an oddball size.

I know EZ Tow sells them, but the price per wheel/tire was much higher than this other place I saw AND EZ Tow charges $40/tire for shipping.

Do a google search on the Kendra tire. There are a lot of places that will pop up. The only question is whether they have pre-installed balance beads from the other vendors. The beads are very easy to add with one of the motorcycle kits you can buy on ebay. I believe etrailer sells them but I seem to recall I found better prices elsewhere. However, when ACME recently had their sale on the tires (no rims) I bought two for future use and carry one fully ready spare on a rim.

Thanks, I forgot about the balancing beads. I want two mounted wheels because by by the time we realized the tire had gone down the rim was destroyed. It couldn't have been more than 5 minutes of driving and there was no shoulder to pull off on where the flat occurred.

On our last trip I kept thinking I would probably not know the tires of the car or dolly had a problem until it was too late.

I recently purchased the TST tire pressure monitoring system for this exact reason. I can now monitor both the EZTow dolly tires and the two rear tires of our Altima. If any of those tires blowout I will know right away. If any of those tires develop a slow leak I will know as well. The piece of mind knowing the coach tires are monitored eliminated my stress all together.

Just my .02 worth

I had a tire failure with my TT with TPMs. I did not get an indication on my Tireminder monitor. Someone driving by pointed to my trailer and I had to pull over to see the tire had blown. So much for my peace of mind.

On my Tow Dolly I actually could hear the tire when it went down and the rim was on the ground. By the time I pulled over the rim was trashed.

I also added TPMS sensors to my dolly and metal valve stems to support them properly since the ACME Dolly tires are small and spin very fast.
